Here is the rating of the British Monocle magazine that lists twenty of the best world cities to live in. The honored third place got the capital of Japan – Tokyo, the first place went to Copenhagen, Denmark and the second place took the last year leader – Munich, Germany.
The main criteria that have been used in the selection – were the living conditions, transport networks, social services, business perspectives and some other aspects.

When you visit Costa Rica, be sure that you don’t miss the Arenal Volcano. Located about 50 miles from city of San Jose, in the district La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano is a breath taking natural wonder. About 1,600 m high, Arenal is Costa Rica’s youngest and most active volcano and it is in the infamous list of 10 most active volcanoes in the world. Its name even shows up in the famous Microsoft screen saver Easter egg.

Anyone who has ever been to Amsterdam has seen one of those many houseboats that are tied along the canal banks. Amsterdam is flowing with canals in a way similar to the canals of Venice, Italy and there are many residents there that have taken up living in houseboats. Often when one thinks about houseboats, a picture of a house on the water comes to mind, but the houseboats of Amsterdam are not like this.
